Veteran Wg Cdr Pradeep Bagmar has always been a passionate sportsperson since school. His stint in the Air Force gave him the opportunity to take up golf. He dreamt of making available this elitist sport to youth from all backgrounds and give opportunity to the local talent to flourish and shine on the bigger stage. Taking a cue from Indian Golf Union’s vision he has developed a nine-hole golf facility on his own land in Niphad, 40kms away from Nashik.
His passion is being shared by his close friends Rajeev Deshpande, a Sports Administrator and Golf Enthusiast are helping build this dream.
Riverside Golf Course

Not many are aware that Nashik boasted of one of the best golf courses in the country in the late 19th and early 20th century. Yes, Golf Ground as we know today was a prominent Golfing attraction in the pre Independence period. We are recreating the rich history of Golf in Nashik in the Modern Era.
Riverside Golf Course is the first professional Golf Academy in Nashik. It is a well maintained golf course along with water bodies and fast greens along with excellent training facilities covering a Nine Hole course.
It is located along the banks of the serene Kadwa River, on the outskirts of Niphad, close to Niphad Railway Station. It is a 40 km comfortable drive from Nashik City.
The view is so mesmerizing that it makes one forget the city life and enjoy the time here in sheer idyllic bliss. The club features the first professional Golf Academy in Nashik to give world class golf training and coaching.
It is the vision and mission of the promotors of Riverside Golf Course to offer world class golf training and coaching at extremely affordable rates to residents across Nashik District with a view to identify raw talent and moulding it to produce eventual champions. We hope that sometime in the near future a ‘Tiger’ will emerge from the banks of River Kadva.
Riverside Golf Course is an Affiliate of Indian Golf Union, New Dehi, which is the parent body controlling the promotion of Golf in the country. Now that Golf has been included as an Olympic Sport since 2016 the Government is also keen to take this sport to various parts of the country through the aegis of the Indian Golf Union jointly with Riverside Golf Course.
Facilities
Riverside Golf Course has completely functional Cafeteria, rooms on rent for short-stays, conference hall and much more for recreation. Riverside Golf Course will also be upgrading its facilities to include Tennis, Swimming, Play Park and Ayurvedic Spa Centre.
It is a homely environment where you can spend time with your pets as well. Also Ayurvedic Center for Ladies & Gents to rejuvenate mind and body has been planned and shall be shortly operational.

Riverside Golf Course offers variety of excellent social and family activities in warm and welcoming environment. This property is being developed as an apt place for sheer relaxation and peace of mind.
It is also a perfect option for family get-togethers, office conferences, group-stays, etc. Due to its proximity to the river, the property offers pleasant climate through the year and a stay void of pollution of any kind.
